Collagen has been a BIG game changer in my hair and especially my skin. I FEEL LIKE I'M GLOWING. I use Girl & The Sea marine collagen daily. You don’t taste it at all and its awesome for baking!
Base or bottom layer:
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 cup dried cherries
- 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut
- 2 tbsp raw cacao
"Ice Cream" layer (not actual dairy):
- 2 cups almond or coconut milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp xantham gum
- 2 scoops Girl & The Sea marine collagen
- 2 tbsp raw honey
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
Chocolate & almond butter drizzle on top:
- Raw cacao powder
- Coconut oil
- Almond butter
- Raw honey
Directions for base or bottom layer: Combine all ingredients in food processor until it makes a dough like consistency. Lay out and smash into a flat plan lined with parchment (such as a bread loaf pan).
Directions for"Ice Cream" layer: Combine all ingredients in a blender and pour over base. Freeze for 24 hours or until firm. Once firm, melt coconut oil and add to one bowl of raw cacao & honey. In a separate bowl combine almond butter, honey, and coconut oil. Let cool completely & drizzle both mixtures on top of the ice cream layer.
